Why Build a Boat?

The reasons are many and varied, but the real reason boils down to this: I love building things  and I love sailing. I relish the challenge of building a top-quality bluewater sailboat. It will be the most complex project I have undertaken, far more involved than building the house. And after we’re done, we can sail the world confident that our vessel is sound and secure, ready to meet the new challenges ahead on our Odyssey.
